RPQRF was humbled to be featured in Forbes last month by renowned writer and TV producer, Chris Dorsey. Through Dorsey’s colorful and first-rate writing talent, he described the quail hunting culture and painted a story of the fortuitous genesis of two programs, RPQRF and Park Cities Quail Coalition, that exemplify sportsmen’s efforts to drive quail conservation. Prior to the release of the article, RPQRF hosted Dorsey, Steve Lamboy of International Case Co., and a team of videographers at the Research Ranch for a day of quail hunting and education about research activities conducted by the Foundation. Following a day at the Research Ranch, the crew enjoyed a great day of quail hunting on the Snipes Ranch where they were able to experience the fruits of science-based management.
