I don’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t consider myself a quail hunter. As a child, I would wait for my father to return from bird hunting trips and help him take care of his bird dogs and assist in cleaning birds. Once I was old enough to go myself, I did and have never looked back.
I am fortunate that bird dogs have always been my passion and my daily work. My family owns Gun Dog Supply in Mathiston, MS. We serve hunting dog owners all over the country.
Serving on the RPQRF board has been a great honor and privilege. I’ve had the opportunity to serve under each of the former board presidents. I appreciate their time and hard work that has made the Research Ranch what it is today.
I have also been fortunate to work with all 3 of our executive directors. I’ve learned a lot from them all. Ryan is the perfect person for the job that we have today. His passion for quail is unmatched. We are fortunate to have his leadership.
We are positioned to continue our long-term collection of data plus move forward to new areas of quail research.
