We hope your New Year’s Resolution includes doing more to help wild quail in Texas! One way to help quail is to learn all you can about their biology, the plants they utilize for food and cover, habitat preferences/needs and ways to manipulate the habitat to benefit quail. One place you can get all that information, plus see properties actually doing it, is by attending QuailMasters 2024. There will be 4 sessions, you must attend 3 of the 4 to graduate as a “QuailMaster”.
Session 1: April 21-23, 2024 – Rolling Plains Quail Research Ranch, Roby, TX
Session 2: June 2-4, 2024 – Hebbronville, TX
Session 3: August 11-13 – Alpine, TX
Session 4: October 6-8 – Rolling Plains Quail Research Ranch, Roby, TX
Registration is open until April 1 and is limited to 40 people, you can register at the following website: https://www.texas-wildlife.org/quailmasters.
